Tempering glass

It is produced by cutting common annealed glass into required size, heating close to glass softening point and quick even cooling. After tempering treatment, pressure stress is formed on glass surface and tensile stress is formed at interior, which greatly improve glass’s bending resistance and fighting resistance. Its strength is about four times of ordinary annealed glass.
